lilyhome was created from the vision of interior designer, Lynda Pierce. After seeing a need in the market for a design firm to also oversee the construction, she set out to create it. lilyhome got its name from the nickname that Lynda's sister gave to her growing up. She always called her lily. Every business starts with a meaning behind the name and family has always been at the center of why we do what we do.
At lilyhome, our values are Family, Honesty and Consistency.
Family: the thing that centers us.
Honesty: the thing that convicts us.
Consistency: the thing that drives us.
lilyhome design + build exists from a passion to create beautiful and
functional places for families to make great memories.

Lynda Pierce CEO - Lead Designer
I grew up on an acreage west of Volga, SD. I attended the Volga Christian School and Sioux Valley Public School in Volga, SD. After graduation, I attended North Dakota State University. I received a bachelors degree in University Studies with an emphasis in business. In June of 2008, designArc opened its doors in Brookings. In 2014, I decided to go back to school for another degree in Interior Design. After 3.5 years, I was able to fulfill another goal of mine and get that diploma! With a full-time job and a family, it was one of the hardest things I have done to date. I think that is why it felt so good!
I currently live on an acreage north of Brookings with my husband and two children. We love being outside with our small herd of animals. My children are involved in 4H and they show cattle and goats. We also have some chickens, ducks, cats and two dachshunds; Oscar and Mayer. We like to go camping in the summer when we can.
I am a member of the Estelline School board. I also organize events for the youth group at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Bruce where I attend. I like to travel, try new things and eat good food.
Stephanie Ouellette Business Manager
I started my first business in 2002 (a scrapbooking accessories company) and ran it from home as I raised my children. I sold the business in 2007, then I went back to school to finish my degree in Business Management, and continued until I graduated with my Master of Education in 2017. My job here as Business Manager allows me to use all of my education, skills, and talents to drive business forward in a fun and unique way. I wear multiple hats, which fits my personality perfectly. If you see me out and about, please say hello!
